Believe it or not, the 2018-2019 PGA TOUR season is already underway. The Fall Series is in full swing at this point, and we have already seen some rookies make a splash in the early part of the year.

Every year we see a strong group of Web.com Tour graduates burst on to the PGA TOUR, and this past season was no exception as Austin Cook and Aaron Wise won in their first year on the TOUR, and Wise went on to win the 2018 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year title.

Here are some names to lookout for on the PGA TOUR in 2019:

  1. Sungjae Im: Im started the Web.com season with a win and ended it with a win, and he won the regular season money title as well. Im parlayed those two wins plus three runner-up finishes into a PGA Championship appearance and a fully exempt status on the PGA TOUR for 2018-2019.
  2. Cameron Champ: One of the longest-hitting players in professional golf, the young American has already had a taste of PGA TOUR golf. Champ was first in driving distance and 48th in driving accuracy on the Web.com Tour this past season.
  3. Kramer Hickok: Bursting on the scene as the PGA TOUR Canada Player of the Year in 2017, Hickok broke through in 2018 with a win at the Dap Championship. Kramer looks to follow in the footsteps of Jordan Spieth, his former roommate.
  4. Chase Wright: Another 2017 winner on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada, Wright is rising to the top faster than most expected. Along with Wright’s win at the Rust-Oleum Championship, Wright grabbed five top-10 finishes this past year. He looks to continue that great play on the big stage.
  5. Cameron Davis: Davis finished 34th on the Web.com Tour’s regular season money list after playing just 15 events during the regular season. He had two top-3 finishes in the Web.com Tour Finals and earned a coveted PGA TOUR card by finishing sixth in the Web.com Tour Finals. The young Australian will look to defend his Australian Open title in November.

As the Fall Series wraps up and the 2019 regular season begins, we will get to watch this great young talent, and more, take on the giants of the PGA TOUR. We’re looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds!
